i am not blogging as hard or as much as i should!

Its been awhile since I have written, not to say that I have not wanted to write, its just that I have had very little time and very little to write about! So rather than come on here and write something worthless, I thought I would wait patiently for that surge/wave of inspiration....

So, does that mean I am inspired now? No, not really. Apart from the usual work home and family, things in my world have been pretty quiet and peaceful however I felt that it was important to maintain this blog and keep it as updated as much as possible.

Since my last blog, I have been catching up on some reading, taking in a few movies, spending time with my family, and oh yes before I forget learning to become a trapeze artist! As fun as it was, I didn't make the circus but they said I had potential! Yes they were very sweet positive folk.Check them out on www.gorillacircus.com. Lessons are £16.00 per person for an hour and a half and in my opinion well worth the experience! You are fully harnaced up and they do look after you. Even my 8 year old son did it, although on his first visit up there, he cried, by the time he had overcome the first swing, he was eager to get on with the second round and third round. Its a worthwhile experience, as there are things in life, we fascinate about, and wonder what it would feel like to actually experience the feeling of doing, but that is as far as we get.

Having done cannoeing, kayaking and absailing around the Ardeche Valley in France and windsurfing in the South of France, its only necessary to carry on and do the things that give your heart that extra few beats and inject your blood stream with that adrenalin rush.

I also visited London Dungeons! My cousin was over so we decided to venture out one evening. London Dungeons has changed a lot since my last trip some years ago. It's almost a tour now as opposed to the museum like feel it had before. One thing they weren't scrimping back on was the live actors who were either really rude to you or just screamed at you when you least expect it, and at the entrance, you are told that they hope that you have an absolutely horrible time......

I did on a few occassions lose my bottle. We travelled in groups and at times we all huddled together when we all got a little unsure as to what to expect. People were grabbing each others arms, shoulders and hands just to feel at ease! I was so wrapped up in my own fear, I hadn't realised that I had grabbed onto the back of some womans bra strap until her boyfriend looked at me strangely and suddenely I became aware of my surroundings and sobered up. I was just scared as hell and would have put anyone else infront of me to shield me away from the crazy actors who were doind their job really well!

I also got to sample the London night life on a Thursday night. As much as it was just like any other raving night, the scary part was that it was not! It was still a week night and people work the next day! The clubs were full, the people were dancing and partying like there was no tomorrow and the alcohol was flowing.

As much as I admire folk who have the stamina to party every night, I wonder what it must be like in their day time world never to enjoy being in the comforts of their home in the night time. You can't have meaningful conversations in these places, nor can you really get to know people as alcohol has become them and me and we are all just dancing around.

To all of you that do this EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK, I salute you!

My Thursday night adventure took me to Penthouse and Embassy both different vibes but still good nites out! Thursdays at Penthouse are The BIG VIP, Leicester Square night hosted by Mike L and Badguy Toba, and Jee da Hussla hosts Thursdays at Embassy, Old Burlington Street. The music at both are R'n'B and Funky House. Both venues are beautiful. Penthouse boasts a panaromic view of London from the 6th Floor. Embassy, is a hidden treasure in the basement which feels like being in the inside of the genies lattern.

So, I hope this little blog will buy me some time to get a moving and write something more profound and meaningful x

Peace xxx
