Every so often when a relationship breaks up, something will occur that will remind you of the good times and will take you back to a place when everything was good. Relationships break up for many reasons, sometimes we even forget why.....
Last night I went to see Ice Cube, but enroute to the venue, I was informed that Naughty By Nature would also be performing....i smiled like a fat kid in candy store....
The show was awesome, very simple no gimmicks just simply good music and a reminder of how much the music industry has changed and how music used to sound so good.....made me realise that I no longer listened to music the same way. I almost listened to music these days like listening to a really nagging parent...but last night I was reminded of being a teenager again, the good times and I felt sad that music dont sound this good no more.....but I am glad to say if only for one night, my love affair with hip hop was a live and kicking....
