apologies and thank you's

Hey all

Firstly let me apologise and thank you for

A. Taking the time to visit my blog spot

B. Offer me great critique compliments encouragement ideas and mostly support for this new project of mine

And C. Apologise for:

The fact that when I started to assemble this page I transferred a lot of written pieces I have done over the years and have not as yet put it into date order so right now it all seems as though I thrashed out all this in the space of a few days. My laptop managed to somehow crack its LCD screen last week and so its set me back considerably in more ways than one but no sooner had I resolved the matter, the internet connection is playing silly buggers with me and my patience.

So please bear with me! I am not a craftsman that blames my tools however, I am limited at this present moment in what I can and can't do, so its me and my blackberry writing to you now.

With respect to my laptop trials and tribulations I learnt a lot this week.

Carphone warehouse customer service suck!

Toshiba laptops don't like to be taken out of the house

Don't bother trying to talk with carphone warehouse sales people

Check your contents insurance even if its with the bank

The boys in tottenham court road rock! They replaced and sorted out my rather over sensitive laptop in less than 30 minutes and also for a fraction of the cost!

So now I am getting prepared to go in the ring with my home internet provider - update on that will be up soon x

I learnt this week that I really am not an argumentative person! It really brings out the worst in me and I honestly believe that my dormant ignorant side comes into full force and nothing productive is achieved. For me the concept of arguing with mad folk is either going to send you mad or use up all your energy or do both which can be quite a nightmare.

Evaluate the situation, diagnos the condition and apply the test called "is it really worth it". Once you have done the maths from the get go I am confident that your equation will show you a better less stressful way of dealing with the issue and actually give you the answer you are looking for.

Whilst I have been playing "silly buggers" with my 2 week old laptop and aforementioned fools, I started researching into two other topics that I am going to be writing on, namely:

1. Dating the younger generation

And

2. The value of marriage in todays society

If you feel you can add to this then please let me know as its good to see the world through different eyes.

Apart from that the week so far has been quiet and lazy. My son and I both have caught some sort of fluey thing and no, not swine flu, just run down, feverish, sneezing and sore throat, so we been snuggled up.

I hope the above will replenish and instill confidence that I am not a flash in the plan and that this will be exploding at the seams shortly with more work so please stay tuned x
